“The provision of fast-charging devices is a rapidly developing field, which has also quickly increased Kempower’s size and portfolio. When we first sought an external partner for wiring harness manufacturing and product development, agility and quick delivery were particularly listed in the requirements,” says Sanna Otava, Kempower’s Chief Operating Officer.

“When we order prototype series for new products, they are always defined for specific needs. In other words, we do not buy wires by the reel but always according to the individual devices and their features. Customized orders specify not only the wiring harnesses themselves but also, for example, the correct lengths of parts and the necessary connectors on a case-by-case basis,” explains Sanna Otava, Kempower’s Chief Operating Officer.
“Quality also plays a significant role. When talking about high electrical power and voltage in efficient fast-charging devices, safety is not compromised. Therefore, Bevenic’s reliability is a particularly important factor. When we know that the quality of the conductors and connections is excellent and flawless, we do not have to worry about compromising electrical safety
Flexibility and delivery reliability support rapid growth

“Through the transport boxes that move between our factories, both parties can stay well-informed in real-time about which products are needed at any given time. Practically, when a specific product box is emptied, it is automatically transported back to Bevenic, where preparations for the next needs can begin immediately,” explains Sanna Otava.
This method ensures that Kempower receives the necessary products on time without any delivery interruptions.
According to Otava, there is a lot of communication between the companies. Thus, the flexibility and reliability of goods movement are not among Kempower’s concerns.
“Delivery reliability is a very important aspect of our collaboration, and this way we have been able to ensure that we avoid delivery interruptions as efficiently as possible. When the company’s growth rate is this high, it’s great that it can be supported with reliable delivery and good communication.
